Mars – Aries The Warrior Root Chakra

Description

Root Chakra, also know in Sanskrit as Muladhara or Base Chakra.  Situated at the base of the spine.     The colour associated with this Chakra is red.  The emotional aspect of this is about survival and the feeling of safety.  The root chakra connects us to the physical world, the material, earth energy.  The Root chakra is the foundation for all the other main Chakras (of which there are 7).  The associated astrological signs and planets are Aries (Mars), Taurus (closeness to the earth, stability, possession, sensual pleasure).  Capricorn/Saturn: Structure and stability.  It is the seat of the collective unconscious.
